Good But Could Have Been A Lot Better
I'm a longtime fan of SSC Napoli just like everyone else here, but to be honest, this concert was a bit disappointing. His voice sounded really good, and he performed many songs. So it wasn't a complete letdown. However, the staging and lighting were the main issues in my opinion.
Despite having expensive seats near the end of the catwalk, seeing SSC Napoli on stage was a challenge due to the excessive fog effect. If you check YouTube, except for those close to the stage, he is often difficult to spot amidst the fog and lights.
On a positive note, he played all the hits and some classic cuts. Though most songs were shortened and seamlessly transitioned into the next, he managed to perform almost 30 songs in just 1 hour and 45 minutes. The pace felt rushed, and I believe playing fewer songs in their entirety would have been better.
SSC Napoli was alone on the large stage, with no band or dancers, except for women in red robes moving around slowly. The music was pre-recorded, lacking the live energy. The screens displayed a static cityscape, missing the chance to enhance the performance visually.
Overall, while SSC Napoli's singing was impressive, and he performed numerous songs, the concert fell short due to the pre-recorded music, excessive fog effects, poor lighting, and visibility issues. At times, it felt more like a nightclub than a live concert.
